NOTICES

The St Mary Magdalene Guild will be visiting Tshwane Haven,
a home that cares for babies and toddlers with medical needs, on 18 July 2026. We invite all parishioners to join us in sharing Christ’s love by donating baby essentials, toiletries, clothing, blankets, food items, toys,
and monetary contributions. Your generosity will help bring comfort, care, and hope to vulnerable children and their caregivers. “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40) Donations can be handed to any St Mary Magdalene Guild member before the outreach date.
For enquiries, please get in touch with Reneilwe Motlhope – 069 539 1414 or Reabetswe Botshe – 076 782 8881.
Together, let us be the hands and feet of Christ in service to others.

CALL TO MEN
As part of the preparations for Holy Week, all men are urged to assemble at the Cathedral on Saturday, 28 March 2026 at10h00 , for a thorough cleaning of the grounds, garden, walls, etc. Men are encouraged to bring cleaning stuff, high pressure washers (for mould and all), garden equipment, refuse bags, paint and brushes, etc.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
There is a need for vigilance in safety and security on the church premises. Parents
are kindly asked to sit with their children after the communion/blessing as teachers return to their pews in
the church and there is no adult supervision when the children are playing outside. Thank you for your
continued support.
REGULATION ON COMMUNION
Parishioners are reminded that communion in two kinds has been made
available for those who wish to share in the common cup. As has always been the case, persons who wish
may continue to choose to receive communion in one kind only. Intinction (by placing the host into the blood
by either the minister or the communicant) is not permitted for health reasons. The person’s hand touching
the contents of the cup or the clerics touching the communicant’s mouth is unhygienic.
LECTIONARIES
Kindly note that lectionaries for 2026 are now available. They may be purchased from the
office for R 45.00 or from the Churchwardens after the Sunday services.
