BAPTISM REGISTRATION

Registration for the next round of baptism classes is now open. Registration
will close on Sunday, 18 August 2024. Classes will commence on Sunday, 25 August 2024 with the baptism
service being held on Sunday, 29 September 2024. The following link may be used to access the registration form,

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Due to high level of human trafficking and kidnapping of children, parents are
requested to sit with children after the communion/blessing. After the communion/blessing, the teachers
return to their pews in the church and there is no adult supervision when the children are playing outside.

BIBLE STUDY GROUPS

There is an initiative to encourage parishioners to join Home Groups/Bible Sty.We would, therefore, like to increase the number of bible study groups within the parish. Those interestedin learning how to facilitate a bible study group must contact the office.

DISCIPLESHIP COURSE

The Dean will be running a Discipleship Course starting on

Thursday, 18 July 2024 at 18h00. This is aimed at those who would like to deepen their spiritual lives. Adults who want to learn
more about Anglicanism and Spirituality are welcome.

CHILDREN’S DAY WITH THE BISHOP

The Bishop’s day with the children of the Diocese is scheduled for
Saturday, 28 September 2024 in Rustenburg. Details around common transportation and the exact venue
will be shared closer to the time.

REGULATION ON COMMUNION

Parishioners are reminded that communion in two kinds has been made
available for those who wish to share in the common cup. As has always been the case, persons who wish
may continue to choose to receive communion in one kind only. Intinction (by placing the host into the blood
by either the minister or the communicant) is not permitted for health reasons. The person’s hand touching
the contents of the cup or the clerics touching the communicant’s mouth is unhygienic.

LECTIONARIES

Kindly note that lectionaries for 2024 are now available. They may be purchased from the
office for R 45.00 or from the Churchwardens after the Sunday services.
